Hilton has revealed the signing of its premier brand hotel in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Hilton Lucknow will be developed in collaboration with Amrit Bottlers Private Limited, forming part of a cluster complex that already includes Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow, managed by Hilton under the same ownership.

Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025, Hilton Lucknow is strategically located in the heart of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow’s prime district, poised to become a benchmark of hospitality excellence and innovation. This expansion reinforces the brand’s presence in Uttar Pradesh’s administrative hub and underscores Hilton’s commitment to expanding in India’s most populous state.

Hilton Lucknow enjoys close proximity to government and commercial offices, the city’s railway station, and is 23 kilometers from the commercial airport. Upon its completion, Hilton Lucknow will boast 140 guest rooms blending local influences with contemporary design. The hotel will feature expansive event spaces spanning 17,000 sq ft, including a banquet terrace garden, a ballroom, and meeting rooms, catering to large social and corporate gatherings. Guests can savor culinary delights at three dining venues, including a specialty bar and a chic lobby lounge.

Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Country Head, India, Hilton, said, “We are thrilled to bring Hilton’s signature hospitality to Uttar Pradesh’s largest city. Lucknow is a city steeped in history, culture, and modern vibrancy, making it an excellent destination for Hilton’s expansion as we strengthen our portfolio in North India. We are privileged to deepen our partnership with Amrit Bottlers Private Limited and are better positioned than ever to meet our guests’ evolving needs.”

Rajesh Ladhani, Director of Amrit Bottlers, said, “Having built and run the Hilton Garden Inn in the same complex, we have a great relationship with Hilton. This partnership aligns with our intent to strengthen our foothold in the booming hospitality sector and expand our presence in the most sought-after locations in Gomti Nagar. In recent years, the city of Lucknow has gained repute as a well-established destination that meets the growing travel demand from domestic and international travellers alike, and we are confident that Hilton Lucknow will enhance the city’s dynamic hospitality scene.”

With 26 operational hotels in India and 19 more in development, Hilton is on track to triple its India portfolio to 75 operational and planned hotels in the coming years.
